In-Person Convening FAQ
Do you have a COVID-19 policy for this event?
As of October 2022, the CDC Community Level of risk for Alexandria is LOW. We ask that all in-person attendees at the 2022 InventEd Convening be vaccinated. While masks are not required under the current Community Level, you are welcome to wear a face mask per your health status and comfort level. If you are not vaccinated or prefer to not attest to your vaccination status, we welcome you at our virtual event.
We will have COVID tests and masks available.
Our event will take place, in part, at USPTO and we are monitoring their COVID-19 policy. USPTO is a bureau within the Department of Commerce. Please find the COVID policies for the Department of Commerce and USPTO here.
We have asked the Westin Alexandria to ensure staff are masked when serving and interacting with InventEd attendees.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a fluid situation. Should risk levels rise, we will update this policy to reflect CDC and Department of Commerce requirements. Further details are provided at registration.
