The beautiful Portland International Airport is 20 minutes from downtown. The airport is served by public transportation, cab and rideshare services at varying prices.
There are multiple parking garages and surface lots in downtown close to the hotel. It is $25 per day if you choose to self-park at the Hilton, or $40 per day if you valet your car at the hotel.
The MAX light rail red line runs approximately every 15 minutes from the airport into downtown Portland. It costs $2.80 one way and takes 45-60 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Believe it or not, the Portland Airport is actually something to see! The newly renovated main terminal features a sustainably, locally-sourced timber roof, along with solid local dining and retail options.
We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Powell's Books. Get lost in the stacks over 4 floors and 9 color-coded rooms. It's just down the street from the Hilton at 1005 W Burnside Street.
Interested in some outside time, and don't mind a little rain? Portland's Washington Park is two miles west of downtown and includes multiple gardens, an arboretum and miles of trails through Oregon's giant conifers.
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a hands-on science museum offering interactive exhibits, an IMAX theater, and a planetarium. It's just across the Willamette River from downtown Portland.
